Where to Eat and Drink
South Shropshire's remarkable reputation for fine food may be because of our wonderful fresh local produce, lively markets, independant butchers and specialist food shops. Or our magnificent setting.
Ludlow leads the way in gastronomic excellence and restaurants with stars including Mr Underhill's and the Waterdine Inn & Restaurant has a Bib Gourmand. The Stag Inn at Titley, Nr Kington (just over the Herefordshire border) is the first pub to be awarded a Michelin star, and is also included in the guide. Many other restaurants in the area also have listings in Michelin.
