Shropshire is on the border of North Wales and is surrounded by Cheshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire & Worcestershire. Shropshire is approximately 3 hours from London, an hour or so from Manchester and only 40 minutes from Birmingham.
By Car

By Rail
The regular main line Manchester to Cardiff service calls at Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Ludlow www.nationalrail.co.uk.
The Heart of Wales line, one of the most scenic in Britain, stops at Church Stretton and Craven Arms www.heart-of-wales.co.uk.

- 292, Ludlow – Kidderminster, 7-day bus service which stops at Cleobury Mortimer
- 492, Ludlow – Hereford, 7-day bus service
- Ludlow Park & Ride operates Monday to Saturday into the town centre from the Eco Business Park just off the Ludlow By Pass.

By Air
The nearest airports to Shropshire are located in Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester and are all approximately an hour away. Birmingham and Manchester airports also connect to a mainline rail network.
By Bicycle
Route 44 of the National Cycle Network is a 58 mile linear route which guides you from Shrewsbury, through the Shropshire Hills and into Bishop's Castle, Craven Arms and Ludlow. From Ludlow it continues south into Herefordshire and onto the cathedral city of Hereford.
